Something I love about network marketing is how we must grow ourselves to grow our businesses. I have run my own company before (online copywriting and marketing strategy) so I know how easy it is for your work to take over your life.
One of the main differences I have found in network marketing vs. building your own company is that with network marketing (at least with a really good company) you don't have to build marketing tools, web sites, etc. You can focus on the business side of your business.
What a novel idea eh?!
And because of that I have discovered it is absolutely essential to grow and expand ME. As I go so goes my business.
Therein lies the challenge: gracefully embracing discomfort. Letting go of any attachment to the results of my efforts, focusing solely on my thoughts, beliefs and actions.
One of my favorite women in the industry is Susan Sly and she has a wonderful article on letting go of the "how". I am sure I am not alone in the being a "how" addict. All of our egos want to know "how" this and "how" that...and when. :) Oh the wonders of being human!
But I now understand this is simply part of being human, part of me being me.
So when the "how" question pops up as it invariably does I simply say to myself, "I don't know but thank you for asking. I'm moving forward now." And then I move forward.
It is that simple but I wouldn't say it is an easy process.
Susan's article here discusses the "hows" we all hear in our minds and how to keep on keepin' on. :)
